Technology should serve it's user.

Yet as a result of our data-driven economy, the goals of technology companies and users consistently misalign. Increasingly manipulative methods of inflating usage have become the standard. As our lives become further entwined with the digital, we become enslaved by algorithms whose goals serve another. Technology knows no evil and has no intention, rather it is us humans who choose to use this tool for greed.

Kanso hopes to build a bridge between the digital world and a life truly worth living.

• Prioritize the digital health of the user - Kansoers are digital minimalists, our software should promote that lifestyle.
• Salary should not exceed a livable income - Somehow a lot of non profit ceo's end up with million dollar salaries, that's bad methinks.
• LLM created/assisted contributions are strictly forbidden - Features should be strictly vetted, AI usage promotes the "move fast break things" slogan that Kanso is strictly against.
• Capital sources have no influence on the direction of the project - Direction match the interest of the users above all else.
• Intuitive design is of utmost importance - If you have to link a setup manual in your project's homepage, you've failed try again.
• Respect everybody without discrimination - Unless you yourself fail to respect others :)
